Bexley 47 - Africentric 8
The Nubians gave up 17 first quarter points and were just unable to bounce back. The Africentric
defense who gave up only 8 points combined in their first two games gave up an uncharacteristic 47
points. Darrius Rhodes connected with Lee Gill for a 52 yard touchdown pass. Rhodes would run in
the following two point conversion.

the scoring for the Bearcats with a 1 yard touchdown run.

Ready 48 - Centennial 20
Though the Stars have not been able to earn a win this season they have got big plays from Tyrell
Richardson. Richardson scored on a 76 yard run and a 89 yard fumble return. Another score for the
stars came on a Clayton Clever 5-yard touchdown pass to T.J. Burbridge.
East 30 - Briggs 0
Sherman Moorer-Saunders passed for three touchdowns (24,12,9) yards. Stanley Dickerson who
caught two of the touchdowns (24,12) also scored on a 40 yard fumble return. Darrell Solis caught a 9
yard touchdown and freshman #32 Curry scored on a 40 yard run.
Eastmoor 18 - Grandview 0
Eastmoor improved to 2-1 scoring 6 points on defense and getting production from two of their young
shining stars. Isaiah Pead only a Junior had a 70 yard touchdown run and junior Terrance Drakeford
hooked up with sophomore Alex Coleman for a 17 yard touchdown through the air. Pead finished with
116 yards on only 8 carries.
Franklin Hts. 54- West 27
The Cowboys jumped out to a 21-7 first quarter lead but were unable to keep up the high scoring pace.
They would be outscored 47-6 for the remaining three quarters. West got three scores from their
quarterback Campbell. Two through the air for 66 and 9 yard. The other came on the ground for 1
yard. The Cowboy defense accounted for six points with a 15 yard fumble return for a touchdown.
South 39 - Linden 12
The Bulldogs got scoring from all over. Aaron Callahan scored the games first two touchdowns on runs
of 14 and 3 yards. Casey Hood threw his 4th and 5th touchdowns of the season one to Derrick
Chatman for 58 yards and the other to Doug Rippey for 6 yards. Two of the other four touchdowns
came on a 62 yard run by freshman DeVante Sherwood and a 46 yard interception return by senior two
way standout Alexis Vaughn. Brandon Joiner had 10 rushes for 85 yards for the Bulldogs.
Marion Franklin 20 - Northland 0
The Red Devils are red hot after wining their second consecutive game. Josh Anderson had
touchdown runs of 12 and 33 yards. Anderson finished with 215 yards on 27 carries. Quarterback
Jeremy Hill added another solid game completing a 30 yard pass to Chace Fraley for a touchdown.
Sheridan 35 - Whetstone 14
Braves quarterback Tommy Williams completed a 29 yard pass to Marcus Willis for the teams first
touchdown. Blake Callahan would later add a 84 yard touchdown run.
Wortington Kilbourne 21 - Mifflin 0
Hilliard Davidson 43 - Independence 6
Lovelace hauled in a 59 yard pass from Small for the Sixers only score of the game.
