After being beaten 51-8 last week, the Independence 76ers could have
folded for the rest of the season. Instead the Sixers almost came away with
the biggest upsets of the season leading 14-13 with less than three
minutes remaining. Marion Franklin would take the game back with a late
Jeremy Hill touchdown pass to Vernon Reed.

With northland slowing down the Bearcat running attack and scoring the
first points of the game, they should of had a good chance of winning.
However the Bearcats took to the air behind the arm of Aquante' Braswell
and reeled off 26 unanswered points.
